Marsh Ward

Marsh Ward cares for postnatal women and their babies, as well as postnatal women who have been discharged but whose babies are on Buscot Ward.

Most of our accommodation are four bedded bays, and we will do our best to maintain your privacy and dignity at all times.

Marsh Ward also cares for pregnant women who require hospital admission prior to labour and operate a transitional care bay, for extra support for babies who might otherwise need care in Buscot, as well as offering an early discharge service for mothers and babies.

Visiting hours for birthing partner or supporter are between 8:30am and 8:30pm, while additional visiting for one further visitor or siblings of the child is between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. Mothers' older children are welcome to visit but other children such as nieces, nephews, cousins, are not allowed to visit due to risk of infection.
