Research
We believe that research is key to improving treatments, saving lives, and making our services better for patients. More than 5,000 patients take part in our research helping to develop new diagnostics, drugs, and treatments.
We have a range of facilities available to researchers and collaborators, including on-site pharmacy, laboratory, radiology and clinical engineering resources.
We are the first Trust in the UK to be certificated by the International Accrediting Organisation for Clinical Research (IAOCR) - confirming our commitment to being a world-class site, and providing opportunities for all our patients to take part in research.
