Hurley Ward

The Trauma Unit on Hurley Ward is a 30 bedded trauma and complex orthopaedic ward. The ward has male and female bays as well as some side rooms.

Hurley Ward cares for patients with urgent injuries and conditions requiring surgery or a hospital stay across all orthopaedic specialties.

We are a busy ward, with most admissions arriving through the emergency department or clinic on a 7 days a week basis.

We have open visiting meaning visitors can come at any time of day - although they may be asked to leave during doctors' rounds or if a patient requests additional privacy.
