Staffing

In November 2013 the National Quality Board published "how to ensure the right people, with the right skills are in the right place, at the right time".

This guidance sets out the expectations of NHS Trust Boards to ensure levels of nurse and midwifery staffing are safe on wards. Part of this initiative is a requirement for all hospitals to publish information about staffing levels on wards.

At Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust we take the care of our patients very seriously and already have a number of mechanisms in place to ensure that our wards are safely staffed.
