Health and Wellbeing Support

Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust offer mental health, physical health, wellbeing and financial support among other areas.

Staff working at the trust are able to access mental health support, a free GP service for staff and their immediate families, and a dedicated wellbeing centre with a kitchen, lounge, shower and changing facilities, television room, activity rooms and quiet spaces. Additionally, staff can access a variety of services such as free health checks, yoga and physiotherapy classes and much more.

Development Opportunities

Our extensive online Learning Catalogue has over 200 courses, available in a variety of formats. E-learning courses include topics such as Conversations Of Care, Kindness Into Action and Goal Setting to name but a few. Meanwhile the face to face workshops include our award winning positive psychology course, Investment In Excellence.

The team have a wide range of training interventions using a variety of instruments – including Myers Briggs, Investment in Excellence, Saville Wave, 360 Feedback and Coach to Lead.

Training pathways are available within different areas of the Trust including the Henley Business School, Applied Management Business degree. In addition, there are functional skills and secondment opportunities and talent management.

We also offer several apprenticeship programmes which enable you to gain a nationally recognised qualification in areas such as leadership and coaching as well as many others.

Rainbow Day Nursery

The Rainbow Day Nursery is a nursery for children aged between three months and five years old. It is a nursery exclusively for children of parents working at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. The nursery is currently rated 'Good' from OFSTED.
